It’s Farm Market Day written by Rocky Porch Moore.?
This summer we are seeing many crops and foods being grown on farms. Tall stalks of corn. Green fields of beans. Animals on the farm.
These foods will soon be ready for the harvest in the fall. Farmers will pick the crops and foods. They will, no doubt, save some for their families, but they will ship many of these foods off to grocery stores and farm markets.
This book is the story of a family’s visit to a local farm market. Listen along to the video reading and join in on their journey to experience the many things to see and do at the farm market.
After your reading journey, plan a field journey to visit your own local farm market for locally grown foods and fresh produce.

Great video! Wonderful topic. Good to SEE you!
Thank you, Mrs. Case. Wonderful to get your comment on this video reading. I hope to put up a few more book readings soon. Thinking they are resources for preschool classes to use technology in the classroom, especially small classes or home child care learning centers.
Hi Brenna, I wanted to thank you for stopping by the #StackYourStats this past week. Just voted on Picket Fence for you and already following on FB and Twitter. Hope you can stop back by this week.
Thanks Karren
Thanks, Karen, for the comment and the following. Stop by again and I’ll do the same.
What a great book to go with a trip to the farmer’s market! Thanks so much for sharing the video, Brenna! I pinned your post to my Farm Unit Study Board at http://pinterest.com/debchitwood/farm-unit-study/
Thanks for commenting, Deb. The video book readings can be a useful technology tool in classrooms to add a different voice to reading times. Farm is a great theme as well and a great time to teach about farm markets.
