The Three Little Pigs is a very familiar story for young children. Many preschool students love hearing this story and often acting out the story as well.
In this particular version of the story, the illustrator, Katie Saunders, places a pot on each page for the readers to locate. Try to find the kettle pot on each page as you listen, read, and follow along in the story.
At the end of the story, the pictures are all mixed up and need to be unscrambled to put the story back in the correct order. Try to decide which picture goes first, second, and third until all the pictures are back in the correct order of happenings in the story.
Then, after reading the story in the book, make your own pig houses similar to this outdoor activity featured here.
