During Circus week at preschool, we learned about the many different circus acts.
One of the students’ favorite activities was the tight rope walkers. They made their own tight rope or balance beam. They lined up the skinny long square blocks straight in a line. They were careful to walk on the blocks, putting one foot in front of the other. They even put their arms straight out to their sides to help with balancing.
This activity is fun and offers help in control to walk in a line, one foot right in front of the other one. Not an easy task.
