The preschool students learned about brushing their teeth from Mr. Big Mouth.
We used a shipping box. We taped the opening closed and cut a small slit where the two sides of the opening come together on the top of the box. We drew red lips and white teeth on the top and bottom of the slit we cut.
Then we drew two big eyes at the top of the face to finish it off.
The students made their own paper toothbrushes with a popsicle stick, too. They cut a small square of white paper and cut slits in the paper square to make bristles for the toothbrush. They glued the bristles to the popsicle stick.
Then they used their toothbrushes to brush the teeth on Mr. Big Mouth.

hahaha, this is soooo cute and a great idea!

Oh wow! Thanks. I’m so glad this activity was useful and enjoyed in the classroom. My preschool students have enjoyed Mr. Big Mouth –and hopefully thoroughly know how to brush their teeth.
