Colored tape apples for preschool apple picking

In the early childhood classroom, the students made their own apples using colored tape.?

First, they wadded up pages from magazines. Then, they used tape all around the paper wads. We used green, red, and yellow tape to be the same color as apples.

Once all the apples were taped up, we put them on the floor and the students pretended to go apple picking. They gathered apples and put them in a bucket used for the apple basket.

We made our own apple tree, too. We collected sticks outside. We taped the tape apples to the sticks and stuck the sticks down in a bucket or planter.
