God always knows. God knows everything. God has a plan. One boy (now 8 years old) gave an answer in children’s worship 2 or 3 years ago that will answer almost any question in life: “God has a plan.”
It’s true. God has a plan. He has a plan for salvation. He has a plan for professional careers. He has a plan for family life. He has a plan for the church, big or small. He has a plan for everyone and everything. We don’t always know that plan and we wonder what God is doing at challenging times of our lives and careers. We grow frustrated trying to connect with God’s plan.
But hang in there…God knows our struggles, challenges, and frustrations, and He often gives us little hints and encouragements all the path to show us that He is still working and providing.
The song “Always” sung by Building 429 reminds us of the following promise:
“Our Savior never fails
Even when all hope is gone
God knows our pain and His promise remains
He will be with you always”
